Working remotely
How a remote studio works with your business
Every project runs the same way, wherever you are based. Nothing depends on being in the same room, so we put everything somewhere you can check it.
- In writing first. What is included, what is not, and what any extra costs are agreed in writing before work starts.
- One call, one checklist. Onboarding is a short call and a single list of what we need from you: your logo and photos if you have them, your services and your service area.
- Review on your own phone. You see the site on a staging link and approve it before anything goes live.
- Your choice of channel. Email, phone, WhatsApp or video call, with your plan, project status and documents in the client portal.
Prices are in US dollars in every market. You can pay through Payoneer by card or bank transfer, by PayPal, or in cryptocurrency for 5% off every payment. Processing fees charged by the payment provider are separate and paid by the client. See how it works for each step in order.
Time zones
Our hours, on your clock
We work Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM US Central Time. Here is what that means where you are:
- Eastern Time: 11 AM to 8 PM, all year.
- Pacific Time: 8 AM to 5 PM.
- United Arab Emirates: 7 PM to 4 AM while the US is on daylight saving time, from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, and 8 PM to 5 AM the rest of the year.
- Kuwait: 6 PM to 3 AM while the US is on daylight saving time, and 7 PM to 4 AM the rest of the year.
Where your area changes its clocks on the same dates as the US, the Eastern and Pacific figures hold all year. The UAE and Kuwait do not change their clocks, which is why their figures move by an hour twice a year.
For the Gulf, the honest summary is that our day starts in your evening. In practice, you send notes, photos or approvals during your working day, and we pick them up when our day begins. Replies come within one business day, and when a call is useful we book it at a time that suits both sides.
Markets
Where we work, and what changes in each market
The coverage list on this page shows every US state, Washington, D.C., and the seven emirates of the UAE. Canada and Kuwait are served on the same terms and have their own pages. Each market page covers what is specific to running the program from there.
New Jersey. Our home state. The page covers the local search basics a service business should get right: a Google Business Profile, plain service-area wording, and the same name, address and phone everywhere.
Canada, also in French. Paying a US-dollar subscription from a Canadian account, working across time zones from coast to coast, and French pages, which are a paid add-on. Québec's Charter of the French Language generally requires businesses there to make commercial content, including websites, available in French; check your own obligations with the Office québécois de la langue française.
United Arab Emirates, also in Arabic. English included and Arabic pages as a paid add-on, right-to-left layout for those pages, WhatsApp as the way many customers make first contact, and a gap of nine to ten hours with US Central Time and eight to nine with Eastern.
Kuwait, also in Arabic. The same language and contact questions as the UAE, a gap of eight to nine hours with US Central Time and seven to eight with Eastern, and, for businesses that later sell online, KNET, Kuwait's national debit payment network.
One program
The same program in every market
The $99 a month rate, the 3-month minimum and everything included are the same in all four countries: a custom 3-page website, a logo if you need one, a domain and hosting for one year, SSL, professional content writing, basic SEO setup, a contact form, call and WhatsApp buttons, QA, deployment, and ongoing management and support.
So is the price lock. The regular price is $299 a month; join at $99 and that rate stays for as long as your subscription is active. Extra pages, e-commerce, booking systems, integrations and automation are additional services, quoted in writing before work starts, and they never change the $99.
